Youth
Youth is not a time of life,it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks ,red lips and supple knees,it is a matter of the emotions :it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite ,for adventure over the love of ease.This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 .Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years wrinkle the skin ,but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul .Worry ,fear ,self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
Whether 60 of 16 ,there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders,the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living .In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station :so long as it receives messages of beauty ,hope ,cheer,courage and power from men and from the infinite,so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down ,and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism,then you are grown old ,even at 20 ,but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism ,there is hope you may die young at 80.

we all knew that, now the world all is suffering the financial crisis, and many factories all already went out of business the bankruptcy, this also meant could have many people to face is coming off sentry duty.
perhaps in school we regarding this realized is not very big, however we soon face the graduation, also meant must look for the work.
already some people commented: the next several year university graduate, the graduation also on meant unemployment! although i not like this believed, but i still felt we should have one kind of crisis feeling, by faces the worst possible occurrence.
therefore, also cannot again continue to waste in the university period time, that already was may not obtain extremely! therefore i hoped schoolmates, all can learn own diligently special course, in order to might find from now on most suits own work.

people want to have good health.what is good health?you are feeling strong and well.your eyes are bright and clear.your face is clean and fresh.you feel happy and ready for anything.you enjoy your work and life.you are in good health.exercise is one of the forms to keep our body in good health.exercise trains the muscles and makes them stronger.you can walk and throw a ball because you have trained your muscles to do these things.feel the soft part of your arm.you are feeling muscles.when you bend your arm you can feel the big muscles move and become firmer.exercise not only keeps the muscles of the limbs and body in good condition,but also strengthens the muscles of the heart and organs of breathing.exercise helps to make the heart strong.have you ever felt your beat?it beats faster when you are running than when you are sitting still.the heat pumps blood more freely when we do exercise,and serves all parts of the body better.exercise helps the lungs to do better full and rapid breathing develops the muscles of the chest.let's take part in exercise.the earlier,the better.

I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.
First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Nixon, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”
Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-exercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”
For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.
At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

Have you ever heard of Lin Dan or Li Zongwei ?I guess the answer is a big Yes.But do you know a badminton player from Brazil?His name is Yogg.Well,Today,let’s begin with his story.
With smelly streets,spider webs and dreadful security,it is the slum of Rio,a forgotten place.Fortunately,sports lightened it. A noticeable mark of this slum is the court for badminton.About 200 boys and girls come here to practice badminton on every training day.Yogg was just one of them.A couple of years ago,badminton was introduced to Yogg for the first time.Since then,Yogg was obsessed with badminton and he said: "Everytime when I play badminton,I feel like I were a badminton,which could fly out of the slum!" And yes,he did it!The sports carried him far away from guns,drugs and alcohol.He successfully participated in the badminton game of the Olympics this year.Sports saved him.
That’s the sports’ miracle to change an individual. But more than that,sports can change the world as well.

I know sports can bring us a sight of our potential;I know sports can bring us minds unafraid to fight,even though the trail without victory;I know sports can bring the world the power to celebrate,the reason to unite and the courage to be better.And we know,we know the power of sports.

"never say die, i've been down this road before. i'll never quit, i'll never lay down." it's the song named "win". it tells us never say die.
seeing this topic, what first strikes my mind is the group of blind football players who won the silver medal at the beijing paralympics games. what they did shows the spirit of the old saying “never say die”. instead of giving up because of their blindness, they have redoubled their efforts and they did wonders.
never give up, even though there are many difficult things waiting for you. if you try your best, maybe there will be many successes behind you the next time.
i once read a book called "the count of monte cristo". in the book, it says, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words, wait and hope. just try your best, wait for the success and hold on your hopes.

Everyone has their own dreams, I am no exception. This is my dream for five years. I grew up love swimming, correct posture, swim fast, heard a lot of praise, some said to I taught them to swim! From then on, the dream was born, so I keep practice every day.。.
My effort is to one day be able to not only when athletes, in the crowd watching right now I get a medal of that a moment, but also for the motherland proud!
