I'm . It's a great honor to stand here and express my personal opinions. The topic of my speech today is "learning methods should be suitable for yourself".
After reading the book "learn to learn and learn to be a man", I learned a lot of learning methods and understood the importance of learning methods through the small stories inside. But with good learning methods, everyone can say a few, and normal people can do it. Why is the achievement gap still so large? I don't want to repeat the truth. I just want to say what I think.
What I feel most is that the learning method should be suitable for myself. I am not a hard-working person, but I have always maintained good grades, thanks to the fact that I have found a suitable learning method. When I was just promoted to junior high school, my parents and teachers taught me that junior high school is not much more than primary school. I have to work harder. It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. but when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. it is the simple things that really matter. if a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. if, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more e_ercise, or what not. man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. this is a humble conclusion, but i cannot make myself disbelieve it. unhappy businessmen, i am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking si_ miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.

but the first time that i took my book out of my suitcase, the coolest girl in the bunk came up to me and she asked me, “why are you being so mellow?“ -- mellow, of course, being the exact opposite of r-o-w-d-i-e. and then the second time i tried it, the counselor came up to me with a concerned expression on her face and she repeated the point about camp spirit and said we should all work very hard to be outgoing.
and so i put my books away, back in their suitcase, and i put them under my bed, and there they stayed for the rest of the summer. and i felt kind of guilty about this. i felt as if the books needed me somehow, and they were calling out to me and i was forsaking them. but i did forsake them and i didn't open that suitcase again until i was back home with my family at the end of the summer.
now, i tell you this story about summer camp. i could have told you 50 others just like it -- all the times that i got the message that somehow my quiet and introverted style of being was not necessarily the right way to go, that i should be trying to pass as more of an extrovert. and i always sensed deep down that this was wrong and that introverts were pretty excellent just as they were. but for years i denied this intuition, and so i became a wall street lawyer, of all things, instead of the writer that i had always longed to be -- partly because i needed to prove to myself that i could be bold and assertive too. and i was always going off to crowded bars when i really would have preferred to just have a nice dinner with friends. and i made these self-negating choices so reflexively, that i wasn't even aware that i was making them.
now this is what many introverts do, and it's our loss for sure, but it is also our colleagues' loss and our communities' loss. and at the risk of sounding grandiose, it is the world's loss. because when it comes to creativity and to leadership, we need introverts doing what they do best. a third to a half of the population are introverts -- a third to a half. so that's one out of every two or three people you know. so even if you're an extrovert yourself, i'm talking about your coworkers and your spouses and your children and the person sitting next to you right now -- all of them subject to this bias that is pretty deep and real in our society. we all internalize it from a very early age without even having a language for what we're doing.
now to see the bias clearly you need to understand what introversion is. it's different from being shy. shyness is about fear of social judgment. introversion is more about, how do you respond to stimulation, including social stimulation. so extroverts really crave large amounts of stimulation, whereas introverts feel at their most alive and their most switched-on and their most capable when they're in quieter, more low-key environments. not all the time -- these things aren't absolute -- but a lot of the time. so the key then to maximizing our talents is for us all to put ourselves in the zone of stimulation that is right for us.
One night, I complained to my mom about the lack of time. Finally she said,"you are short of time just because you waste precious minutes on complaints and anxiety. The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, if you try really hard, you can always fit in some thing more."

The point is I have never touched upon the real meaning of life which lies in snatching, seizing and enjoying every minute of it. No idleness, no delay, no procrastination, no complaint! It is during my moments of complaining or hesitation that my destiny is shaped. Once I make full use of every moment, I believe that, my worries will be gradually cut down to nothing.
Time is the most valuable of all our possessions, but the most perishable as well. As Henry David Thoreau said,"You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment."
Whenever I fell the lack of time in the future, I will tell myself "Carpe diem , seize the day, make every moment count."

This picture tells us the attitude of some people towards safety problems. Since they have the one-sided view towards the safety problems, they ignore these problems in our real life. good morning, ladies and gentlemen. i’d like to share my teaching dream with you. but before that, i want to say something about the beginning of this dream. in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school. during the meeting, we exchanged a lot about education. i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines. what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes. i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education. the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.

Everybody is afraid of failure, because it means what they do is useless and they waste their energy and time. But people get the wrong idea about failure, in fact, failure is also success. Hello, everyone! It’s my great honor to make a speech today. First, please allow me to introduce myself briefly. I am a student from Zhejiang province. The topic of my speech is “protecting the blue planet”.
We have only one earth,- the blue planet. There are everything that adults and children are suitable to live. That is the same meaning of human’s home. Therefore, our children’s future depended on our action. However, we are facing many problems nowadays. For example, environment pollution, climate change and reduction of resources. It’s significant to know how to protect our world.
To begin with, we should understand the problem of environment pollution is more and more serious all around the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Waste water is being poured continuously by some industries. What‘s worse, people are cutting down increasing number of trees which is used to make oil. What we can do first is to enhance our consciousness with strengthens.
Second, in order to save our resources, such as trees, electricity and water. We can see saving the resources as our duty. In our daily life, we could use cloth bags rather than plastic bags. Also, reducing the frequency of using the disposable products even rejecting. When it comes to save water, we can turn off the tap whenever we see. To governments or sections of organizations, we should create some policies and implement them when we faced with a global threat. Let’s do an experiment, if you carry out my suggestion a week or a month, you will become more enjoyable and meaningful. And the company will become one of the sustainable enterprises.
Last but not the least, the epidemic of covid-19 was outbreak unconsciously, we have no choice, but to unite, and do it fast. Under the circumstances, some countries choosed not to cooperation. I must say, it was an incredibly shortsighted approach. Though covid-19 is exposed first in China, it didn’t mean we are the only one origin of this disease. As the disease found, China governments at all levels have taken the protecting work priority. By sharing the vaccines and medicines in time, the condition of covid-19 turned well among our country. On one hand, our government carried the pleasure from the world. On the other hand, our people were facing the fear. It’s unfair to criticize China. In my view, we should transform the world in one generation to a conscious, listening world- a world of connection, a world of understanding and a world of peace.
Just like the Martin Luther King “I have a dream”, I hope our world can create better environment and biodiversity within my lifetime. Wishing hear the voice of youngers and refugees and see their smile because there were no wars in the near future. To think beyond national borders and nationalities. I do willing to protect our earth via my a bit power.
All in all, there is no doubt that we should take measures right now to protect our earth, which is also can be called our forever home. So, what are we waiting for?

it’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. not long before about 10 doctors in beijing university and qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.
frankly speaking, i don’t quite agree with them.indeed, we should never neglect or even discard our traditonal festivals as china boasts a brilliant history and splendid traditions.
but why can’t we absorb the meaningful western holidays and culture.
there are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in china. on the one hand, some of the western holidays which we chinese don’t have are reasonable and meaningful, such as father’s day and april fool’s day etc. on the other hand,the prevalence of globalization enables western culture to prevail in china. overwhelmed by such a trend,chinese unconsiciously get involved in western holidays and culture.
with the further development of the whole world, the cultural communication between different countries and nations becomes faster and more and more important. we are indeed from different nations, but we are the citizens of the same world, so the outstanding culture of different nations is the commom wealth of everyone on the earth.the only way for us to protect our traditional culture is to reject the foreign culture? the answer is definitely no. what we ought to do is to spare no effort to educate chinese to get to know and treasure our splendid traditions instead of rejecting foreign culture. only by educating can we set our confidence and belief towards our culture.
